Your agency's radio system runs over cellular push-to-talk — so any field agent can be on your private channel from their existing smartphone, or use a loaned handheld radio.

Radio on Your Phone

The push-to-talk app installs on any iOS or Android device. Field agents use it alongside the Agency Dispatch mobile app — one device covers both. No separate radio hardware needed unless you want it.

Private Encrypted Channels

Your agency's channels are completely private and encrypted — nobody outside your authorized users can monitor or transmit on them. No shared channels with other agencies or the public.

Legal Authorization Notice

License plate lookups and people searches are conducted under the Drivers Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Your agency must hold a permissible legal purpose for each search (e.g., service of process, licensed PI investigation, bail enforcement). Your service contract will specify your agency's authorized purposes. Searches outside your authorized scope are prohibited and may result in service termination. Consult your state licensing authority for requirements applicable to your agency type.

Sign the Service Contract

Your service agreement is sent through Agency Dispatch's built-in e-signature system. It covers all services, authorized search purposes, compliance obligations, and terms. Both parties sign digitally — no printing or scanning.

Agency Onboarding

Your Agency Dispatch account is created and configured. Staff are invited, permissions are set, and your private radio channels are provisioned. We'll walk your team through the software and the radio app in a setup call.

Radio Equipment (If Needed)

If your agents want dedicated hardware, loaner radios are shipped pre-configured to your channels. Most agencies use the mobile app on existing phones — no hardware required.
